Room for events.
Diversity is our identity. Bochumer Veranstaltungs-GmbH offers event services from a single source at four very different venues. This diversity is reflected not only in the external appearance of our four venues, RuhrCongress Bochum, Jahrhunderthalle Bochum, Stadthalle Wattenscheid and Freilichtbühne Wattenscheid, but above all in our varied schedule of events.
Why don't you drop by? We look forward to welcoming you!
Auch in diesem Jahr möchte die Wattenscheider Bezirksvertretung wieder Sommermusik, auch zum Mitsingen, ...
It has been and still is a great responsibility for the entire team and therefore also for me personally to be allowed to operate and programme four great houses with our "flagship" venues Jahrhunderthalle Bochum and RuhrCongress Bochum. From comedy to concerts, party conventions, staff meetings, corporate events and open air festivals, our spectrum of services is constantly expanding and changing - in the service of the city's society and the city itself, creating an international impact.
CEO of Bochumer Veranstaltungs-GmbH
The Bochumer Veranstaltungs-GmbH.
Bochumer Veranstaltungs-GmbH was founded in 2002 with the aim of creating modern, efficient and service-oriented public meeting places. This goes hand in hand with the city of Bochum's sustainable image as a top-notch location for congresses, culture, trade fairs, shows, and sports. In this respect, the company is clearly geared to promote culture, sports, and the economy.
Back in January 2003, it opened the RuhrCongress Bochum and in April of the same year, the Jahrhunderthalle Bochum, before supplementing the operation with the Stadthalle Wattenscheid and the Freilichtbühne Wattenscheid.
In addition to classic building services operations, the company's range of tasks includes professional event management with all aspects relevant to meeting spaces and security, as well as eventsmarketing and promotion of the locations for the supraregional leasing business.
Economic, social and ecological criteria are at the heart of this approach. Bochumer Veranstaltungs-GmbH has made a name for itself far beyond the city limits and beyond the Ruhr area with the development of its own event formats in the fields of culture, science, and business. It has an excellent network in the event industry, is a member of the EVVC and cooperation partner of the state of NRW, the Ruhr Regional Association, Ruhr Tourismus GmbH, and many others.
Bochumer Veranstaltungs-GmbH is a subsidiary of WirtschaftsEntwicklungsGesellschaft Bochum mbH, which in turn is a subsidiary of the city of Bochum. The companies operate under the brand names "Bochum Events" and "Bochum Economic Development". The Chairman of the Supervisory Board is Lord Mayor Thomas Eiskirch.
