General conditions of the competition

1. Bochumer Veranstaltungs-GmbH (hereinafter: BoVG), Viktoriastraße 10, 44787 Bochum, is the organizer of the competition on Facebook, Instagram or in its own newsletter. The competition is in no way sponsored, organized or supported by Meta or Hubspot (newsletter). Meta or Hubspot are therefore not available as contact partners for the competition.
    
2. The competition is free of costs and charges and is linked to a task. All social media users or recipients of our newsletter who are resident in Germany, are 18 or older and have completed the task correctly are eligible to participate. Each user or recipient may only submit one registration for the competition.
    
3. Employees of Bochumer Veranstaltungs-GmbH are not eligible to enter the competition.
    
4. The winner is determined by random drawing by BoVG employees. The probability of being drawn is the same for each participant. The application for or use of BoVG products or services does not affect the outcome of the competition.
    
5. The winners will be drawn after the end of the competition. The duration and participation deadline of the competition can be found in the corresponding competition post/newsletter.
    
6. BoVG reserves the right to change or terminate the competition at any time without giving reasons. We inform you of any changes on the respective social media channel on which the competition is held or via our newsletter.
    
7. The winner is notified by means of a personal message on Facebook or Instagram or by mail. The winner is asked to contact us by a personal message or email and to provide the required information (full name, address, email address). If the winner does not contact us, he/she will not receive the prize. A cash payment is not possible. Personal data (full name, address, e-mail address) is only collected for the purpose of the competition and will be deleted immediately after the end of the competition and the subsequent draw.
    
8. BoVG reserves the right to exclude individual participants from the competition if there is an important reason. An important reason includes, in particular, attempted deception, manipulation or disruption of the competition.
    
9. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions of Participation is or becomes invalid in whole or in part, this does not affect the validity of the rest of these Terms and Conditions of Participation.
    
10. Insofar as this is legally permissible, the liability of BoVG and its vicarious agents is fundamentally excluded, i.e. in particular also in the context of the implementation of the competition. This does not apply in case of damage caused by gross negligence or intent or in case of injury to the life, body or health of the participants. In this respect, BoVG is not liable for direct or indirect damages such as loss of profit, loss of business, costs and expenses incurred - regardless of whether such damages were already foreseeable at the beginning of this competition or not.
     
11. The competition is exclusively subject to the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Legal recourse is excluded.
